POVERTY SCHOLARSHIP FORM

The World Buddha Foundation has lined up ambitious plans to promote higher education and introduce professional courses for the first time. In pursuance of this plan, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation gave its consent for the formation of Buddha Vishwa Bharti on 5th July 2004. Buddha Vishwa Bharti would be exclusively earmarked for promoting higher education upto the undergraduate level in the following schools of Professional studies: -
 Buddhist Studies
 Pali Language & Literature
 Ancient Asian History & Culture
 Management
 Engineering
 Nursing
 Education (Teacher’s Training)
 Law
 Journalism &Mass Communication.

Attempts are presently under way to get regular affiliation from Delhi University for the aforementioned schools of studies.

II The Board of Trustees of World Buddha Foundation has given its consent to set up the Ranchi Institute of Management & Information Technology. The Institute will be mainly engaged in conducting short term computer courses with a maximum duration of upto 6 months in the following areas of specialization:
 Financial Accounting Package (Tally)
 Desk-top Publishing (DTP)
 Multimedia & Animation
 Software Development (on going Curriculum)
 Programming Using C, C++, Java
 Linux

III. The Board of Trustees of World Buddha Foundation have given their approval to open The Sanghmitra Teachers Training College
In Ranchi. The formalities regarding approval from National Council for Teacher Education Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhuvaneshwar have completed. The college will begin to function once the mandatory clearance is received from the Deptt. of Higher education, Govt. of Jharkhand.
